The HABAU Group, based in Perg/Upper Austria, is a family-run construction company that has been successful for decades and is in the top 5 in the Austrian construction industry. Despite its size, the company is even now still owned exclusively by the Halatschek and Heindl families.
Due to various acquisitions of companies and new start-ups, the HABAU Group is now represented by its own companies and/or holdings not only in Austria, but also in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Belorussia and Russia.
Due to the many and varied fields of activity and numerous branches, the HABAU Group is able to offer complete solutions in the fields of building construction, underground construction, pipeline construction, the construction of prefabricated parts and tunnel construction all over Europe.
All of the companies in the HABAU Group can look back upon a successful company history - and all have an even more successful one ahead of them. Each company has its own speciality, but under the umbrella of the HABAU Group they are comprehensively capable.
At present, the HABAU Group employs approx. 3.600 employees. In the business year 2008/2009, a construction turnover of 727 million Euros was generated.
