Brief Description
Construction of a high-pressure gas pipeline DN 300 between the Redlham and Offenhausen valve stations in the Hausruckviertel district in Upper Austria.
Scope of Work
The trench length was 16.035m1 with a minimal depth of 1.50m1. Approx. 9,000 m1 was opened up with a hydraulic shovel (24 tonnes) and 7,000 m1 with a trench cutting machine (16-35 tonnes). The sheathing of the insulated steel pipes was carried out with 1,000 m1 sand, and the remaining length with stone free excavated material. The route width (right of way) was specified by the client as 12 m1 in forests (approx. 1,500 m1) and 14 m1 in meadows and fields. Four street crossings were erected in open construction with a medium depth of 2.50 m1, and seven street crossings and a railway crossing were executed as tube holes. Seven channel crossings were carried out in open construction (culverts) while maintaining the natural water freight (rivelts avoided using pumps). A fibre optic cable was laid along the whole length of the gas line and a water pipe was laid across a distance of approx. 2,500 m1. The existing gate controls in Pühret and Offenhausen were rebuilt and extended. The pressure reducing stations in Penneweng and Kaudinghof were rebuilt. 115 land owners, 7 communities and 2 district administrations were contacted and supervised by our company. Our aim was to fulfil the requirements of the land owners. Written takeovers and buy outs were carried out with the land owners for the individual properties.
